Anyone else hold their breath a little bit when opening up a research paper before scanning the number of pages at the top? If it’s under 20 pages I breathe a sigh of relief. Manageable. But when it’s 40+ ?! Someone send help.

But seriously, we all know we need to actually read the papers to write good quality essays. The problem is…they’re just so damn hard to read sometimes. From tables, to statistics, scientific jargon…it can get overwhelming fast.

I designed an article reading template that would allow me to only read a paper ONCE thoroughly and then have organised, accurate and useful notes for my essays.

You might not need a whole in depth break down of every single article you read but it’s especially good for any starter articles/ papers you plan to reference in depth.

Use it to keep track of citations, notes and links to theories and reflections. Happy reading!

Love,
