Formatting reports can be a total pain. I’ve created a pre-formatted APA 7th edition assignment template designed for psychology and social science students writing university-level essays. The first page is a general guide on header levels, when to use italics and citations etc. Pages 2 onward are set up as required by the APA including:
- Double spacing
- Headings in bold and title case
- Indented paragraphs (0.5 inch)
- Hanging references (0.5 inch)
- Margins set to 1 inch on every side
- Title page with required information
- Page numbers top right corner
- Font size 12 Times New Roman
- Example reference list with link to a reliable referencing site
